Materials: hair bun/sock, bobby pins, 2 hair elastics
Optional Materials: Hair Spray, teasing comb
1.) Put your hair in a ponytail. (either high on your head or on the back of your head, leave some little pieces of hair out for the messy affect) read step six first if you want more volume.
2.) Either take a thick rolled up sock or a pre-made hair bun and loop your hair through the middle of the bun. (if you have a sock make sure you cut the toe area of the sock off then roll the sock, choose a bun/sock that is closest to your hair color.)
3.) Place your hair around your bun. (make sure that the bun itself isn't showing)
4.) Place a hair elastic over the bun. (this makes sure it stays secure)
5.) If you have hairs stick out of the bun take bobby pins and place them where the hair is sticking out. (this will make the hair stay down)
6.) *Optional* If you want your hair to stay just as is use hair spray and for volume you can tease your hair before putting it in the ponytail.

spray bottle, hair elastics, bobby pins, coconut oil

3.) Once the two sections are detangled put them loosely in the two elastics. (your hair should look like to puff balls or two loose pig tails depending on curly hair texture)
4.) Take out your leave in conditioner and put some in the spray bottle.
5.) Put some water in the spray bottle. (screw the nozzle back on the spray bottle)
6.) Shake the mixture until the leave in conditioner is dissolved.
7.) Take one side of your hair out and spray the mixture on your hair.(saturate your hair, do this to the other side of your hair)
8.) Let your hair air dry little.(it should be damp before you do step 9)
9.) Take some coconut oil and apply it to your damp hair. (the coconut oil helps to define and shine your curls)
